We are a family. Nhan Marbacher-Vo and her daughter Sabrina Rhomberg are the head, heart and belly of our business. But without our Vietnamese cooks, without the service staff and lovely people in the background, it would not be possible to cook at the highest level every day and to entertain and make hundreds of guests happy.
It all started with the opening of the Petit Saigon restaurant in 2000, and the soups and fresh dishes quickly became famous in the city. Nhan Marbacher-Vo created some of her popular Vietnamese dishes herself, for example, her chicken in plum sauce or her chicken satay, which you won't find anywhere else but in our restaurants.
In 2009, the Saigon at the Sihlporte in the centre of Zurich followed. Our second restaurant also enjoys great popularity. With our freshly prepared cuisine, we struck a chord with many people in Zurich and beyond, who had had enough of Asian omnivorous dishes and were looking for authenticity.
A year later, in 2010, Chez Nhan was added, which can now be found at Uetlibergstrasse 22 under the new name Chez Nhan Deli. It continues the tradition that Nhan Marbacher-Vo started and passed on to her daughter.
It is impossible to imagine Zurich's culinary life without our Vietnamese restaurants. You can find our dishes and soups at Christmas markets, including Bellevue; our catering service turns corporate and family events into unforgettable highlights.
We know neither powder soups nor glutamate additives. We prepare everything fresh and in the traditional way. When the sun rises over Zurich, our soups and curries are already simmering. Just like we learned from our mothers and grandmothers back home in Saigon.
Our principle is: "Life is too short for bland soups". We hope that you will join us in our family motto and that we will soon be able to welcome you as our guest.
